In Novo Nordisk we drive our business to the benefit of patients. To bring innovative treatments to as many patients worldwide as possible, we consider expanding our API manufacturing capacities to support the company portfolio of future oral and injectable pharmaceuticals. We investigate how to establish new, ground-breaking biotech facilities based on modern technology with fully automated operations and digitalised processes. We are now hiring a process engineer within the following disciplines: Clean-room design & HVAC design. The activities will be carried out at our site in Kalundborg, home of Novo Nordisk API manufacturing. The Job As clean-room and/or HVAC system Engineer, you will participate in project activities investigating design, constructability, schedule, and cost for potential new pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Key design principles will be to implement best-in-class design standards from established pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Besides developing process and facility design, you will actively participate in building a competent user-organisation, integrating with engineering partners, and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities. You manage any project risks proactively and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency.
Qualifications M.Sc. or B.Sc. within Chemistry, Nano technology, pharmaceutical process engineering, Mechanical engineering or similar +3 years of experience within clean-room and/or HVAC-design +3 years of experience from working within GMP regulated manufacturing Preferably Project Management experience from cross-organisational project assignments Be driven by a strong motivation to succeed and a desire to set very clear direction Have a certain knowledge about technology trends within bulk manufacturing English proficiency (verbal and written) On a personal level, you enjoy close teamwork, can ride a storm off and are a strong motivator of others.
