We are a team of highly professional colleagues who work with safety, safety management systems and safety management of other highly complex systems. It is part of our DNA to improve processes continuously and keep-safe integration of railway safety at all levels of the organisation. Our risk assessment and analysis activities span over a wide range of assets and processes. We promote safety through a wide range of channels and monitor safety through both data-driven and risk-driven processes.

Make railway safety visible across Metro Service
As a Safety Specialist, you will work together with the Railway Safety team to help optimise and coordinate railway safety activities, procedures, and promote railway safety across the organisation. More specifically, your main tasks will include:
Knowledge of management systems and project management
You have a degree in engineering or similar[LGL1] , and can express yourself clearly in Danish and English, written and spoken. But most importantly you have:
Furthermore, you are proactive, curious, and dedicated to obtaining results and solutions and you have a desire to deliver results on an everyday basis.

Make railway safety visible across Metro Service
As a Safety Specialist, you will work together with the Railway Safety team to help optimise and coordinate railway safety activities, procedures, and promote railway safety across the organisation. More specifically, your main tasks will include:
- follow up on the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System
- plan, execute and conduct safety audits and inspections, and report results to the management team of the organisation
- prepare safety reports to public authorities and other stakeholders
- prepare and review railway safety-related documentation
- perform risk assessment of all changes to railway safety related documentation
- provide inputs to, extract, and analyse data from the Metro Service internal hazard logs
- assist as a Safety Investigator when required and facilitate systematic problem-solving
- prepare and present educational and promotional material related to railway safety at all levels of the organization
- participate in railway safety meetings and conferences.
Knowledge of management systems and project management
You have a degree in engineering or similar[LGL1] , and can express yourself clearly in Danish and English, written and spoken. But most importantly you have:
- knowledge of management systems and related management system standards, such as ISO 9001
- experience in project management and perhaps also risk management
- general IT knowledge, MS Office and Sharepoint.
Furthermore, you are proactive, curious, and dedicated to obtaining results and solutions and you have a desire to deliver results on an everyday basis.
In addition, it will be an advantage if you:
- have knowledge of railway safety or similar
- have knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, including CSM-RA
- are familiar with relevant Danish legislation for the railway business, with CENELEC Railway standards (RAMS)
- are certified as Lead Auditor in ISO 9001:2015 – or are willing to take on the Lead Auditor education
- are certified project manager.
