We are looking for

You are a strong Project Manager with 5+ years of experience who has a good understanding of Technology implementations across multiple process areas and you also understand how large complex, global, multi-year deployments are run.

You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment and taking on any challenges that come your way. This won't be a standard PMO role there will be additional and potentially stretching tasks along the way which will offer the development opportunities you are looking for. As an example you may be asked to support a Release Manager to plan and manage Agile scrum delivery or help plan and manage the Cutover of a Release.

Your knowledge and experience of Agile methods, including tools like Jira for backlogs/user stories management will be an excellent base for this role, as will your strong background in PMO Support.

You can create and maintain project plans in Microsoft Project and your excellent stakeholder management skills mean you are able to move elicit accurate and timely updates from project resources across the program.

You understand the importance of managing Risks and Issues and are able to accurately capture these and support driving them to closure.

You are structured, and have an analytical mind-set and excellent problem-solving skills and have flexibility to work on different time-zones if the work requires it.

Ideally you have an understanding of SAP projects and program with experience of how PMO is run and can bring fresh insights into the team to help us drive continuous improvement as the program develops.

Key responsibilities

Work within the PMO team to implement, maintain and promote tools and processes for monitoring and controlling project execution including JIRA, Confluence and SAP Solution Manager/ Focused Build

Support planning and delivery activities within the NFTP Program including;

Developing product backlogs in JIRA with Process teams

Building project plans in Excel and Microsoft Project as appropriate

Operate and where necessary refine key PMO processes including;

Risk & Issue Management

Program Release planning

Updating program deliverables

Resource Management

Operate within and promote an Agile delivery environment

Operate as a scrum master when required including;

Managing and prioritising a product backlog

Mapping out dependencies in collaboration with users and customers

Planning and executing Sprints and Sprint reviews

Continuously work with the sprint delivery team to refine and improve the development process

Proactively manage deployment risks and drive mitigations through problem-solving, engaging with others and being tenacious

Do all of the above always recognising the needs of stakeholders and continually striving to deliver business outcomes to our defined timeline
