As SAP Cutover Manager, you will be a key driver in building our digital core global ERP S4HANA platform.

Maersk is on multi-year program to revamp its technology and digital solutions footprint and as part of our new strategy, SAP will act as the ‘digital core’ for the company’s finance processes enabled by SAP’s latest cloud and S4HANA offerings. Maersk has currently ECC based SAP finance solutions running for Ocean and logistics divisions and our plan is to subsume these solutions within revamped green field S4HANA implementations. You will be part of the SAP engineering team which owns solution template, design, configuration, development, testing and deployment of the SAP solution in Maersk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop and implement a detailed plan for all cutover activities within a release.

  • Engage and lead resources in planning, testing and delivering cutover.

  • Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging cutover issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans, timeframes, and other relevant project priorities.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication and issue resolution to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the cutover planning and delivery.

  • Manage cutover communications, checkpoint processes and logistics to ensure smooth delivery against the plan.

  • Provide thought leadership, implement best practice processes, and drive continuous improvement for repeatable successful cutover delivery.



Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a highly experienced, innovative self-starter with the following background and skillset.

Required:

  • At least 10-12 years’ experience in large SAP Implementations covering at least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementation experience with the demonstrated ability and in-depth knowledge in all aspects of a SAP implementation and the relationships between each phase.



  • 5+ experience of leading large complex global, SAP Cutovers with diverse and distributed teams.

  • SAP Project Management experience.

  • In depth knowledge and experience of SAP Activate methodology.

  • Strong Microsoft Project skills.

  • Very strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills.

  • Structured, highly analytical mind-set and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Highly motivated and work well under pressure within diverse cultural environment.

  • An individual who respects the opinion of others; yet can drive a decision though the team.

  • Credible with senior stakeholders and able to hold their own in conversations at this level.

  • Natural ability to coordinate and facilitate diverse teams of different skill sets, backgrounds, geographies, and cultures.

  • Advanced communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide advice, consult and negotiate with senior management and manage key relationships between stakeholders involved in an implementation environment.



Desirable;

  • S/4 HANA experience highly desirable.

  • SAP Data Migration experience - understanding of BODS.

  • Functional knowledge of specific SAP modules is a plus.

  • Knowledge and experience of Solution Manager and Focused Build.

  • Knowledge and experience of Agile Methodology and use of JIRA.

  • Logistics industry experience.
