Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for global oversight of bid organization, response content, quality, and adherence to both bid requirements, along with brand and product standards.
  • Ensure that all responses have cleared legal, HSSE, Quality and compliance gates at CEN and all all-impacted regions for bid review and approval prior to submission.
  • Responsible to ensure resource library materials are created, developed, and catalogued for regional bid team leads to utilize using approved corporate materials and content to support regional bid submission including product overview, regional and global organization charts, office locations, outline of location and value add for all Maersk products, financials, HSSE and quality processes, compliance statistics and standard legal templates.
  • Responsible for providing regular updates on tender pipeline activity, health and trend statistics for current and future product and growth planning.
  • Analyze in detail the request for proposal (RFP) and define the bid strategy considering the commercial strategy defined together with the Global head of Growth and Regional Growth leads.
  • Set RFQ response schedule and engage response stakeholders timely to ensure bid completed on time.
  • Attending Customer facing negotiation and contract meetings as required.
  • Ensure that all Customer questions have been answered, in line with commercial strategy.
  • Manage the Tender Quality Costs Delivery Performance (QCDP) commitment for critical bids.
  • Verify all response requests follow SFDC entry protocol prior to accepting bid for submission.
  • Complete Postmortem process for critical bids and implement lessons learned.
  • Business development targets for customers and verticals.
  • Updates to product definition, HSSE and quality, compliance, and legal gates.

Who we are looking for

  • Extensive experience and understanding of Logistics industry, 10+ years of experience.
  • Fluency level of English language is mandatory – any other language can be a plus.
  • Extensive technical and product knowledge including experience in project solution design, priding and value proposition design.
  • Strong communication skills - experience in customer facing engagements and presentations.
  • Strong ability to facilitate cross-functional decision-making across regions, product(s), and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and relationship building.
  • Team player – works together with others in the business unit to achieve results, fosters teamwork.
  • Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure, persists despite obstacles and opposition.
  • You are someone who can use your analytical and logical mindset to both solve exceptionally complex problems and drive decision making by using qualitative and quantitative insights to achieve goals.
  • You understand that excellent processes together with new technologies are key to delivering on the integrator strategy, optimal customer experience. You want to help drive Maersk towards becoming a product and process driven organization.
  • You are energetic, curious, creative, people focused, and excel in creating visions and clarity in ambiguous situations.
