Job purpose and scope

Drive and orchestrate the top line growth across the European region (including all Mediterranean countries) for the following Fulfilled-by-Maersk products to ensure their commercial success: warehousing, cold store, middle mile distribution, last mile delivery and container depot.

For this role you can be located anywhere in Europe, with a preference for the following locations with a Maersk office: Rotterdam, The Hague, Madrid, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Liverpool, Genoa.

Key responsibilities

This commercial role consists of steering the Product and Sales teams to grow the Fulfilled-by-Maersk products´ revenue and network utilization to meet their respective targets. Responsibilities are centered around pipeline performance management, strategic direction setting and defining harmonized ways of working across functions for all above-mentioned Fulfilled-by-Maersk products.

  • Own and drive all pipeline performance management responsibilities to steer the Product and Sales teams in delivering the top line targets.
  • Responsible for structuring, developing and maintaining the tools and processes required to manage sales pipeline and network utilization.
  • Cascade and translate the regional European Fulfilled-by-Maersk strategy into an actionable go-to-market strategy and growth plans for the different products. Drive same to completion with the Regional Product teams and the frontline teams across Europe to ensure aligned prioritization and successful outcome.
  • Define and harmonize the collaboration framework to structurally drive network selling between Europe and Asia, Americas, Africa, Middle East with customer accounts controlled in those overseas regions.
  • Define and harmonize the ways of working between the regional Product team and the frontline Product and Sales teams across Europe.

Who we are looking for

  • Proven track record in a steering/direction setting role with focus on pipeline, strategy and/or top line growth
  • Self-starter, motivated professional with demonstrated ability to drive outcome and follow through to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to steer and influence cross-functional collaboration, decision making and execution. Feeling at ease to navigate in a matrixed organization and to lead without authority.
  • Proficiency in Power BI dashboard creation and maintenance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a strategic mindset and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge in contract logistics, e-commerce and distribution is preferred
