[xxxxx] Technology & Operations Supply Chain Service Supply Chain

Service Supply Chain is part of VTO Supply Chain, and we are responsible for the global inventory and availability of all spare parts (both mains and minors) for the maintenance of installed turbines. You will become responsible for an international team from around the world, being responsible for planning and collaboration with internal and external suppliers to ensure exemplary delivery performance and availability. Moreover, you will also contribute to the development of our Supply Chain

Responsibilities

  • The head of global distribution will oversee all aspects of transportation and customs within the service organization
  • The role will manage and focus on Operations, Supplier management, Strategy & Optimization projects, Solutions & Transformation and Data Analytics
  • This role also needs to ensure managing Opex, sustainability, compliance and meeting financial objectives
  • The individual will work closely with local and regional teams to ensure that transportation processes align with organizational objectives and customer expectations

Qualifications

  • Solid experience as delivery manager within a service transport organization or a few years of relevant experience combined with a Master's degree. We prefer wind industry experience
  • Solid technical background, understanding and interest, preferably in logistics, supply chain, finance or engineering
  • Some experience with remote Leadership

Competencies

  • Effective stakeholder management and project management skills are essential
  • Demonstrated personal initiative and focus on correct data as well as the ability to focus on details without losing the overall perspective
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex supply chain related issues including financial impacts
  • Purpose-driven and attentive to details, highlighting a readiness to collaborate effectively toward shared objectives
  • Advanced communication skills and understanding of different cultures
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office, as well as various ERP and MRP systems such as Mapics and SAP
