We are looking for a strategic and business-driven Head of Corporate Strategy to play a central role in driving the corporate strategy at [xxxxx]. In this role, you will be at the center of our most critical strategic programs and projects, ensuring structured follow-up, clear ownership, and alignment across business areas and Group Services.

You will play a pivotal role in refining the strategic direction, tracking progress on the Group’s top priorities, and enabling fact-based decision-making at the highest level of the organization. Acting as a trusted sparring partner to executive and senior leaders, you will balance long-term strategic direction while connecting the strategic dots in between the areas in the Group supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives.

You will join the Executive Office & Corporate Strategy function at [xxxxx]. From here, you will work closely with the [xxxxx] Leadership Team and strategy leads across Business Areas and Group Services, ensuring alignment and momentum in our most important initiatives.

The role is based at our HQ in Smørum, Denmark, with global reach and informal collaboration with strategy leads and colleagues across business areas, functions, and markets. You will report to the VP of Executive Office & Corporate Strategy

Drive corporate strategy across the Group

As Head of Corporate Strategy, you will hold significant impact through influence, structure, and strategic rigor, while shaping [xxxxx]’s strategic direction and ensuring alignment across the organization.

In this position, you will take responsibility for creating transparency around strategic progress and enabling informed decision-making.

You will drive the corporate strategy process and ensure progress and knowledge sharing across the Group’s strategic portfolio. This includes leading our strategy community consisting of Business Area/Group Service strategy leads and ensuring consistent governance, initiatives tracking, prioritization, and KPI follow-up.

Joining us, you can look forward to the following responsibilities:

  • Drive and continuously refine the corporate strategy and major change programs
  • Be the center point of [xxxxx]’s most important strategic programs and projects; tracking progress closely and reporting to the [xxxxx] Leadership Team
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to C-suite leaders and senior leaders, ensuring alignment and momentum across complex portfolios
  • Co-drive cross-functional strategic forums to ensure alignment, direction, and follow up
  • Own strategic KPI follow-up and performance tracking across the Group
  • Monitor external trends, market dynamics, and strategic opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations

  • Breaking down complex challenges through structured, fact-based analysis turning them into recommendations for progress
  • Strengthening our strategy community enabling knowledge sharing as well as ensuring a consistent strategic framework and shared practices

  • Ensure transparency, clear communication, and structured decision support at executive level

You will balance long-term strategic direction with pragmatic execution, ensuring that ambitions are translated into measurable results.

Direct reports and formal budget responsibility are not included in the role.

What you bring

You bring 8-10 years of experience from corporate strategy development and execution. Most likely, you have worked in a leading consultancy company for several years, ideally combined with experience from an international industrial or technology-driven company. Experience from MedTech, health tech, or design-driven industries is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Furthermore, you bring:

  • A significant financial foundation and good analytical, data-driven problem-solving skills
  • A holistic and long-term strategic mindset
  • A deep PMO and strategy toolbox, with solid experience running complex programs involving multiple stakeholders
  • A hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to drive initiatives from idea to execution
  • Great strategic communication and facilitation skills
  • A master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Strategic Management, Management Science, or similar
