About the role
We are looking for a Manager for our Plant Design department in Virum/Kalundborg. Here, we have 20-25 committed employees for you to guide, building the world's largest pharmaceutical facilities.
Your team specializes in 2D & 3D plant design, piping & mechanical design, of process equipment. In this position you'll bring your solid knowledge within the pharma engineering into play, every day. And you take pride in supporting the team while keeping focus on resolving problems to the benefit of all stakeholders.

Location Virum/ Kalundborg Experience CUSTOM.SENIORITYLEVEL Department OU.DIVISION How you might spend your days
As a manager to your Plant Design department, you'll be:
- Be responsible for the daily management of appr. 20-25 Employees
- Be responsible for management of consultants like negotiation, contracts ets.
- Have close cooperation with our projects in relation to resource demand
- Support the good collaboration with our colleagues in Bangalore, India
- Work in close partnership with the Management Team in Mechanical
- Support the competence development of the department to reflect market and technology development

What you bring to the role
In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:
- You have a degree in engineering within mechanical, chemistry-/production engineering, Marine Engineer or similar
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in people management e.g., as team leader, line manager or project manager
- Proven experience within a pharmaceutical, food og engineering consultancy
- Knowledge about Plant tools (Autodesk og similar products etc.)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GMP and GEP)
