IT Architect to support and enhance the overall IT landscape at BoConcept

Opportunities as an IT Architect at BoConcept
At BoConcept, IT plays an important role in increasing the business potential and executing business strategy and plans. The business strategy also includes plans to develop the IT system landscape to the next digital level where focus is on the full customer journey and back-office processes. The IT system landscape is built on the Microsoft suite as foundation and hence the major platforms (ERP etc.) are also part of the Microsoft application platform portfolio.
As an IT Architect at BoConcept, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing our overall IT landscape. Working closely with IT partners and solution architects, you will ensure that the IT infrastructure and application solutions across all business areas are coherent, secure, and aligned with BoConcept's IT strategy. You will have an overview of the entire IT landscape, making certain that design principles and guidelines are followed consistently.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with IT partners for each business area, providing expert guidance and support.
• Collaborating with solution architects to ensure the overall IT architecture is coherent, secure, and aligned with BoConcept's IT and business strategy.
• Reviewing and providing input on IT solution designs, ensuring compliance with design principles and guidelines.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of existing IT systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Participating in IT project initiatives, providing architectural oversight, and ensuring adherence to design principles and guidelines.
• Promoting global standardization by advocating the use of consistent tools and solutions across all business areas.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical IT solutions.
• Staying updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT architecture.

As we work are an international business, you must be able to speak and write English at negotiation level.
Ideally, you have several years of experience with IT application architecture for customer-oriented digital solutions. You want to develop yourself professionally and personally.

Furthermore, we imagine that you have:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) as an IT Architect or in a similar role, preferably in a global organization.
• Strong knowledge of IT architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Experience working closely with IT partners and solution architects to ensure coherence and alignment in IT solutions.
• Expertise in designing and implementing secure and scalable IT architectures.
• Familiarity with design principles and guidelines, ensuring their consistent application across the IT landscape.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex IT systems and recommend improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proactive mindset, with the ability to drive initiatives and influence key stakeholders.
