With direct reference to Head of Manufacturing Concepts, you will be part of Manufacturing Concepts, which is a global development function within our Supply Chain. The department is responsible for developing production concepts, automated processes, end-to-end production flow and at the same time prepare business cases to support continued development. More specifically, you will be part of a team consisting of 16 close colleagues who handle all development tasks from hardware design, PLC programming, production development and modular and sustainable measures. Together, we work to support Kamstrup's growth and to ensure uniform development of our production equipment across factories.
A job with focus on development of production concepts and systems
In the newly established position as Senior Automation Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring best practice in terms of specification and architecture within our equipment design solutions. Together with colleagues and external suppliers, you will design and specify the production equipment needed to manufacture, assemble or handle new electronic meters.
More specifically your tasks will be to:

Personality matters
We are looking for a result-oriented Senior Automation Architect, who can contribute to the continued success of Kamstrup through a technical understanding and drive. You have an academic background within engineering, automation, technical product design or similar.In addition, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience from a similar position where you have worked within architecture, technical specifications and documentation of production equipment preferably based on mechanical assembly of electronic circuits, or automated process flow in manufacturing.
As a person, you are innovative and motivated by developing new design ideas and translating these into usable models. You focus on quality and always strive for high standards and long-term solutions. Based on your strong understanding of automation, technical design principles and production flow, you know how to translate theoretical knowledge into practical use, and continuously provide new industrial insight into the team. In addition, you thrive in an outgoing role where you excel in communicating to different stakeholders.
It is a requirement that you master Danish and English in writing and speaking.

- Collaborate closely with Technology, Metrology and Purchasing
- Take lead in the specification of modular solutions, both hardware and software for new production concepts
- Initiate and lead development and specification of minor automation and production changes
- Develop new core processes so that knowledge is kept internally
- Improve the general standard for the design specification of both partial and complete modular solutions
