Online Shop Manager to VELUX Group – Hørsholm

Your workplace will be in VELUX Group’s headquarters in Hoersholm, Denmark, and in a hybrid role with flexibility. There can be travelling across Europe up to 20-30 days yearly.

Your job


You will join a very international Online Sales Organisation responsible for 46+ online shops across 26 countries in Europe. Your role as Online Shop Manager for the Blinds category will be to ensure growth in selected markets with a focus on improving key KPIs such as customer retention, sales, and conversion rates. Furthermore, and as a 2024 project, VELUX Group is upgrading their Sitecore platform across their markets, which allows you to dive deep in the platform and be ready to start creating excellence in campaigns, sales, and monitoring.

Key words in the role are to execute campaigns, monitoring campaigns and sales performance, and tuning and maintaining technical elements of the platform. In your daily work, your tasks include to:

  • manage day-to-day operations of the online shops including support, maintenance, optimisation, and development.
  • monitor shop performance and conduct business analysis to identify areas of improvements of the shops.
  • plan development activities on the shops in collaboration with the eCommerce manager.
  • Set up, run, and monitor campaigns – measure sales and eCommerce KPI’s of the campaigns.
  • set up new pages and add/change content on existing pages.
  • support the launch of new products and features on the shops.
  • optimise the SEO positioning of the shops and work closely with the paid search team to optimise traffic to the shops.
  • provide input for new requirements for CX improvements in collaboration with the eCommerce manager.
  • conduct monthly business reviews reporting back on key KPIs.

Your profile


We expect you to be an engaged individual that effortlessly navigates in a global organisation with diverse stakeholders and delivers results in a high-paced environment. Your scope of responsibility is substantial, and it requires you to be self-driven and proactive, and with a distinct ‘can do’ attitude. You of course have attention to necessary details and understand how changes affect one another, and together with colleagues and stakeholders you solve problems and create results.

Professionally, you have a solid outset in eCommerce and with specific experience from following:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Digital Marketing or a similar field of study
  • 4+ years’ experience working within eCommerce in an either BtC or BtB driven environment.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of online sales is a must.
  • Experience with content management systems on a superuser level (Sitecore is preferable, but not a requirement).
  • Experience or a strong understanding of CRM and email marketing.
  • Understanding of HTML.
  • Commercial mindset and knowledge of Google Analytics is a must.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
