As Manufacturing Engineering & Facility Specialist, your overall responsibility is to lead cross-functional production capacity, facility expansion and interior design projects. This encompasses managing, planning and executing all activities, deliverables and design reviews.
Working cross-functional, you have an important role in including and motivating project participants, ensuring progress and delivery on time while balancing budgets.
Along with expansion projects, you will have an important role in seeking out and learning about new technologies and methods within production optimization, ensuring continuous development within this area.
Summing up, your key responsibilities will be:
Your working day will contain a wide variety of tasks covering meetings with R&D, sparring with production technicians on the shopfloor, coordination meetings with stakeholders and more; not two days are alike.
We expect you to have extensive technical experience within the production or manufacturing sector, combined with an educational background on a bachelor’s or master’s degree within manufacturing engineering or similar. As an experienced project manager, you have strengthened your theoretical insights with a certification in either Prince2, IPMA or PMP.
You are a specialist within industrial systems and working cross functional with multiple stakeholders is a well-known discipline to you. You’re fluent in managing contractors and external craftsmen as well as dealing with public authorities. None the least, you thrive in communicating in English verbally as well as in writing.

Optimization and development of industrial systems
As Manufacturing Engineering & Facility Specialist, your overall responsibility is to lead cross-functional production capacity, facility expansion and interior design projects. This encompasses managing, planning and executing all activities, deliverables and design reviews.
Working cross-functional, you have an important role in including and motivating project participants, ensuring progress and delivery on time while balancing budgets.

- Searching for and keeping GHS up to date on new technologies within manufacturing engineering
- Developing & maintaining project charters and project roadmap, project scoping and scope management
- Project detailed planning and follow up: cost, timelines, deliverables resources and quality
- Manufacturing engineering deliverables on tools, fixtures and production line design and implementation elements
- Project quality assurance deliverables
- Integrating with overall Project Management Team
- Project risk analysis and risk management
- Project progress & risk reporting to the overall project
