Your position
In your new position as Data Engineer, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Digital & IT team who operates as the group service function supporting and partnering with all business divisions across Denmark, Norway, UK, US and Asia.
Here, you will play a vital part in orchestrating and fostering cooperation with our business partners as well as designing and implementing the technical solutions. This involves delving into the intricacies of their requirements, questioning, and refining solution needs and conceptualizing potential solutions at an architectural level. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As the Data Engineer for Master Data Solutions your primary responsibility will be to serve as the central force building and driving the data design and structure across our systems together with our Master Data Manager.

- Working closely with business to configure and design master data management systems
- Conducting regular audits to identify and resolve data quality issues
- Providing expertise in data modelling and metadata management
- Collaborating with stakeholders to enforce data standards and policies
- Staying informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in master data solutions
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for a collaborative and innovative developer who is passionate about master data and wants to leave their personal mark on it. You have great communication and collaboration skills and are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- In-depth knowledge of master data management principles and practices
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
- Experience with SQL, C# and a knowledge of Snowflake as an application is preferred
- Proficiency in working with master data management tools and systems
- A relevant educational background or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a Master Data Solution Developer or a similar role
- Preferably experience with Web API technology
