Novo Nordisk is investing 18 BN DKK in establishing four new manufacturing facilities and expanding three existing facilities at their manufacturing site in Kalundborg. NNE is the engineering partner on several of these major projects and plays an essential role in establishing the new facilities. We are looking for a curious and engaged colleague to work in our expanding Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) department. We work closely together with Data Scientists, Process- and Automation-Engineers. We will help you grow and learn much more than just data engineering. Together we build best-in-class data engineering solutions, validation of the solutions and contribute to laying the foundation for data-driven decision-making for our pharma customers.

How you might spend your days
Manufacturing Intelligence is a full-service provider of IT solutions within manufacturing for the pharma and biotech industries. We work with consultancy, design, implementation and validation of IT solutions, both on-premise and cloud based - always in close collaboration with our clients.
As our new Data Engineer within PI (Data Historian) or Process Analytical Technology (PAT), you'll be working with:
- Design, Functional specifications, assist in implementation, and validate the next generation of PI or PAT solutions from instrumentation to automation in GMP applications
- Collaborate with customers and colleagues to ensure PI or PAT implementation in large scale API projects in Kalundborg
- You will be a part of the project teams and participate on equal terms with your 50+ committed colleagues in our offices in Virum, Kalundborg and India
- The position is based in Kalundborg

The miles you’ve walked
To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- A strong interest within the following areas (We train you in the areas you lack experience)
- Lifesciences and/or Biotech Industry regulatory requirements, particularly in Commissioning, Qualification and Validation of software/IT
- Relational databases
- Data Historians / Time series data (We work primarily with AVEVA PI)
- Process Analytical Technology (PAT) in manufacturing
- Data contextualization and visualization
- You have just graduated with a degree in engineering, computer science or have other relevant experience in the life science/biotech industry
- You speak and write Danish and English fluently
