Since 1997 we have been certified according to ISO 14001, in 2010 we joined the UN Global Compact and report annually on our progress within sustainability, and in December 2022 we joined the Science Based Targets initiative. To support the continued focus on sustainability we are looking for a Sustainability Data Specialist who can drive and support Kamstrup in continually improving our factful efforts within environment and sustainability performance in a global context.
You will become part of the Quality & Sustainability department, which consists of 35 employees and more specifically join a growing Sustainability team, where youhave direct reference to the Sustainability Manager. The team holds the overall cross-functional role for sustainable development, ISO 14001 & ESG compliance. In cooperation with the entire organization, the overall objective of the team is to define, drive and implement sustainable development based on company strategy, legal requirements, and customer insights. We ensure factful data transparency and actionable insights, that can improve environmental sustainability performance and reporting.
A job with a focus on improving and reducing Kamstrup’ s footprint
In the position as Sustainability Data Specialist, you will use data insights to promote and deploy awareness across the organization with the goal to accelerate our sustainability journey and secure it is integrated in our value proposition. You will further be part of supporting and maintaining our Environmental Management System ISO 14001 and ESG reporting.
You will act as our internal Sustainability Data Specialist for the business regarding sustainability management and improvements. You must ensure that sustainability aspects are considered throughout our value chain, from the earliest stages of engineering design, through procurement of components, production, and eventually installation, use, and end of life. You will be responsible for aligning and translating Kamstrup’s overall Sustainability Strategy into roadmaps with your colleagues to secure implementation in all business- and functional areas.
More specifically your tasks will include:
Personality matters
We are looking for a motivated Sustainability Data Specialist, who takes a data-driven and analytical approach to working with environment and sustainability. You work systematically and structured to meet deadlines, and thrive in a project-oriented setup, where you drive change through specific actions. You thrive with working in a complex international organization, and naturally build trustful relations with colleagues and partners. You have excellent communication- and interpersonal skills, which enable you to navigate with different cultures and stakeholders while bridging insights to the organization.
You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Controlling or similar and we expect you to have at least 3 years of experience in ESG data handling from a similar position. Furthermore, you understand environmental rules and regulations, preferably from an international electronics industry. In addition, experience with ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and knowledge of Environmental Product Declarations/Life Cycle Assessments will be considered an asset.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken English and Danish.

- Efficient and data-driven global governance within ESG metrics and environmental- and chemical compliance requirements
- Handling ESG data collection, (Consumption data, GHG mapping etc.), analysis, and reporting according to recognized standards
- Activities within ESG impact, supporting ISO 14001 certification, EPD/LCA of products
- ESG process- and impact improvements initiatives
