We offer a very compelling opportunity for an experienced Business Finance Partner to become part of the global management team of our Hearing Care Business area, and to lead a team of finance professionals working with focus on the Hearing Care business.
Our current Senior Business Finance Partner has been offered a new career opportunity in one of our major Hearing Care markets and we are therefore looking for his replacement, to take over and continue our constant journey of being truly value adding finance partners to the business.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Hearing Care business, covering our retail business, where we through more than 3.500 shops in more than 25 markets treat hearing losses from mild to severe and sell high quality hearing aids as one of the world’s leading groups within the hearing care industry.
Your main focus will be on partnering with Hearing Care Management in a close and trustful relationship. You will become an integral part of the Business Area leadership team and will work closely with the President of Hearing Care. You will engage and align activities with the leadership team while ensuring that activities are aligned and coordinated with the Group Finance organization.
You will be working in Group Finance and more specifically in Group Business Finance, and you will report to Vice President of Group Business Finance. You will join a team of highly skilled colleagues and take part in shaping the future of Business Finance and the development and profitability of the business.

Welcome to Group Business Finance
You will become a part of Group Business Finance, which is located at Demant headquarter in Smørum as well as two locations in Poland. Your place of work will be in Smørum.
Our team has a broad finance scope as we work closely with the management teams on financial performance and delivering business results.
Key responsibilities of the team include financial performance reporting and -analysis, managing budget and forecasts processes, supporting commercial market managers, and engaging in a wide variety of finance related interactions with the business. We are part of the Group Finance organization and work closely with other teams in Group Finance and key stakeholders such as Business area management, Group management and Investor Relations.
Your role
Your primary focus will be the Hearing Care business area.
You will be part of the Hearing Care Global management team, where you will ensure that the Global Finance agenda is managed. You will engage with the commercial organization as well to identify and pursue performance improvement opportunities.
You will manage a team of business controllers and be overall accountable for a broad finance scope where you ensure close collaboration and coordination with all other Group Finance teams, including coordinating controlling and reporting activities. This includes financial reporting, budget process as well as forecasts, and in general perform financial analysis to support decisions.
You and your team will be the key contact for local finance managers within Hearing Care and you will ensure that local finance matters are addressed at Group level.
Your toolbox
You have a MSc in Business Administration, Finance or similar and a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Good interpersonal skills
As a person, you have a friendly and approachable nature that makes it easy for you to engage with others. You have good business insight and understanding of financial and strategic analysis. And have a good sense of quality.

You should expect approximately 20-30 travel days yearly.

Your toolbox

- A proven and engaged people manager with demonstrated experience of, and a genuine interest in, leading, developing and enhancing others.
- Excellent financial acumen (reporting, budgeting, cash flow, etc.) which can be leveraged in decision making.
- Project management experience and ability to identify key needs of the business and deliver quality on tight deadlines.
- Previous experience from an international working environment, collaborating with colleagues with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- It is an advantage if you have M&A experience and knowledge of financial due diligence and especially integration as well as experience in implementing Business Development initiatives.
- Collaborative and analytical, yet confident, with well-developed influencing skills.
- An accomplished relationship-builder, able to deliver through influence and building trusted and respectful relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
- An excellent communicator who can articulate complexity in a simple and succinct way.
