Reporting to the CEO of NNE A/S headquartered in Denmark, our new Vice President will be responsible and accountable for the daily operations and overall business in Automation & IT, with P&L responsibility. The Vice President will be acting as a solid leader with a hands-on approach, who thrives when guiding both strategy and execution.<br
Our Automation and IT area is an integrated part of NNE’s pharma engineering offerings, providing in-house end-to-end service portfolio, covering strategic consulting, design, system integration, validation, and customer service. How you might spend your days
As Vice President for Automation & IT, you will coordinate an innovative, multi-disciplinary team where, you will
- direct 240+ committed and highly qualified employees in Denmark, including a management team of 15 directors and managers
- working close together with our 100+ Automation & IT colleagues in India
- ensure technology leadership within Automation & IT
- shape and promote a people-focused culture, maintaining or further improving our high employee engagement, and
- exert organizational leadership in a way that promotes the NNE values
- ensure sufficient resources are available to implement projects – both now and in the future – by developing people and
- ensure access to critical competencies and capabilities
- direct the formulation and implementation of exciting mid and long-term strategies for the development of AIT together with Automation & IT management team
- develop execution strategies for and lead strategic projects ensuring progress including continuous risk mitigation and communication, internally and externally. Responsible for governance of strategic projects. Work for ways to implement strategic projects smarter
- be a member of NNE senior management team, actively and openly contribute to collaboration across NNE, and co-operate with the corporate senior management team to improve business performance
- work closely with customer and NNE management on strategic execution issues. Ensure an efficient customer focus by forming solid relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the NN organization (our main customer), as well as relevant industry stakeholders
- ensure that NNE quality system, standards and methods are basis for execution as applicable
- encourage commercial behaviour, build close customer relationships based on extensive knowledge of their business. Effectively support Account Managers in developing innovative offerings based on customer knowledge.
- Ensure fulfilment of financial targets (revenue, operating profit, cash flow)

The miles you’ve walked
To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- A higher education in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. M.Sc. or B.Sc.)
- +15 years of project management experience from major projects and in working with key customer stakeholders
- Solid knowledge within Automation & IT Domain
- Extensive knowledge of pharma and engineering consultancy
- Proven history of solid project performance and in building close customer relationships
- Solid people leadership skills
