Join our global Energy Transition team and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your new team</strong></p><p>As our new <strong>Lead Electrical Engineer</strong>, you will join a team of more than 50 passionate and high performing HV, MV and LV specialists working predominantly within the global Energy industry. We are particularly focused on offshore wind, power-t-X, and carbon capture and energy transition projects. We cover all phases of project delivery including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC and follow-on engineering on international projects.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your key responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage the electrical engineering scope on multidisciplinary energy projects and ensure that you are on track in regard to time, cost, and quality.</li><li>Lead the electrical engineering team on the project and cooperate closely with other engineering disciplines and the project manager on the project.</li><li>Ensures that the deliverables from the discipline meet the contract specifications.</li><li>Lead and participate in the electrical design by performing electrical studies and calculations for HV, MV and LV systems.</li><li>Lead system and area engineering</li><li>Develop, optimize and standardize technical solutions within HV and MV systems.</li><li>Perform engineering specifications and technical datasheets for HV and MV equipment such as: Power transformers, shunt reactors, pre-inserted resistors, earthing auxiliary transformers, neutral earthing resistors/reactors, GIS breakers and cables.</li><li>Provide input for procurement and handle technical clarifications before and during execution phase.</li><li>Provide input for and participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>From the moment you start at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you can continue to grow with the company. Whilst we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success.</p><p> </p><ul><li>A background as Marine Engineer, B.Sc. /B.Eng. Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. Electrical Engineering or similar</li><li>Have extensive experience as lead engineer and possess strong project management skills.</li><li>Relevant experience as lead engineer in electrical design within onshore/offshore substations, electrification, power plants, oil and gas, power-t-X or similar industries</li><li>Solid knowledge of HV, MV and LV design and equipment, specification and requirements of electrical studies and calculations</li><li>Have strong oral and written skills in English and know how to communicate with different stakeholders.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Within Ramboll’s supportive learning culture there are always personal growth opportunities for passionate individuals who wish to learn.
