THE POSITION
Moonboon is growing fast internationally. For this exciting growth journey, Moonboon is now seeking a highly skilled, innovative and experienced individual to join our team as Development Manager IoT Products and Services.
As Development Manager IoT Products and Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading our efforts to create groundbreaking IoT-enabled products. This new position at Moonboon offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of technology on our growth jouney and make a meaningful impact on the lives of parents and children worldwide.
We are looking for a Development Manager IoT Products and Services who understands the spectrum from hardware development to firmware development including presentation of data. Ideally, the candidate also understands a technical product, e.g. the baby hammock, camara technology etc. (This is an advantage, not mandatory).
You will report to our COO, Jacob Vesterled. In addition, you will work closely with our founder and CEO, Marie Grew and with colleagues as well as external partners.
The position is full-time and is based at Moonboon’s head quarter in Copenhagen.

REPSONSIBILITIES
- Drive innovation in software and hardware integration processes (including online services), leveraging emerging technologies and best practices to enhance product capabilities and user experience.
- Lead our IoT development projects in designing, developing, and implementing innovative IoT solutions for the Moonboon products.
- Manage development of cloud-based services (such as AWS) and apps through external resources, further enhancing our product offerings.
- Collaborate internally with colleagues as well as externally with hardware engineers and software developers and other specialists to ensure seamless integration of IoT and AI technologies into Moonboon's product portfolio.
- Drive the development of IoT architectures, protocols, and frameworks tailored to the unique requirements of Moonboon's products.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle in tech and software products from concept to launch, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in IoT and AI and evaluate their potential applicability to Moonboon's product roadmap.
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering in Robot Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Drive for new product development utilizing cutting edge and existing IoT technology in new applications.
- Technical background combined with software and AI experience.
- Proven experience in IoT development with a strong understanding of both hardware and software components.
- Proficiency in AI technologies and their applications in IoT solutions.
- Detailed time planning and cost analysis to ensure development of new technology on time and according to specs and demands.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with technical products, preferably in consumer electronics or related industries.
- Fluency in English.
