Are you our new ambitious Electrical Design Engineer?
We are currently looking for two Electrical Design Engineers for one of our clients in the Danish wind industry. You will join the join the Electrical System Design and Grid Integration department and be responsible for the development of a number of electrical design for offshore wind farms at the concept design stage of the project. You will be a key member of the electrical design team and will need to work flexibly as the priorities of projects move as work progresses.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Relevant Electrical Design Engineering education
- Min. 5 years of electrical design experience for offshore wind farms in concept design stage
- Powerfactory license and other relevant software along with Microsoft office package
- Used to be very conversant with managing risks and assumptions so preparing risk books and assumption books to accompany any designs would be an essential skill that is required
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Comfortable working with reasonably levels of uncertainty
- Able to work at a senior level within the team requiring only high level supervision
- Able to work remote or at the office in Mid Jutland, Denmark
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Deliver a single line diagram (SLD) and a concept design report, together with an assumption book and risk book appropriate for the electrical design for each of the projects
- Work on a number of projects concurrently
- Propose initial designs
- Develop the designs using risk based assessment techniques to produce concept designs that can be used for bid submission and as the basis of more detailed design if the bid is successful
