(Senior) Finance Manager

As Finance Manager (optionally Sr. Finance Manager), you are directly responsible for leading the financial agenda for one vertical business unit (VBU) operating in Denmark, Norway, and Germany.

Modaxo Europe A/S is recruiting a full-time Finance Manager or a Senior Finance Manager who may play an active role in future acquisitions. With an incredible drive and knowledge of all aspects of finance and accounting, this role is a perfect career step for an ambitious candidate.

You will work closely with functional leaders to ensure projects, accounting processes, and internal controls are managed on time. Your responsibilities will mainly cover three areas:

Management

• Support the VBU Lead and Functional Manager to develop precise business plans, priorities, and forecasts in line with our specialized KPIs.
• Recommend and lead efforts to improve Net Revenue, EBITA, working capital, and growth performance.
• Lead and develop the finance team (Sr. Finance Manager).

Finance & Reporting

• Accountable for monthly/quarterly/yearly consolidated financial reporting to ensure compliance, both internally and externally.
• Deliver quarterly sales pipeline and cost analysis to prepare a solid forecast and identify improved performance opportunities.

Governance & Risk

• Apply best practices to processes, people, and systems to effectively improve revenue, profitability, and cash flow.
  
  

Ideally, you can tick off most of the responsibilities mentioned above from former jobs. The rest will be managed through multiple training and coaching activities from the experienced finance team, which provide great opportunities for professional and personal development across the finance community within the company.

You are located at Modaxo's office in Aarhus with their finance team.

Profile

The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in finance or economics and has at least 5 years of work experience. You are expected to have strong system and project management skills, including advanced Excel skills and BI knowledge.

For success in this position, you work independently and can take full ownership, lead, and drive a project forward while collaborating and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Your strong communication skills allow you to provide an overview to management and dive into details when needed.
