<p>We invite you to bring your ingenuity, curiosity and enthusiasm into play as our software portfolio manager in our global Transport market.</p><p><strong>You will join our Global Innovation and Digital Transformation (IDT) team in the Transport Market</strong></p><p>As our software portfolio manager, you will work as part of a specific team with a focus on supporting global Transport software. You will be interfacing with colleagues across the globe and providing expert knowledge as we look to empower our colleagues with digital technologies.</p><p>Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:</p><ul><li>Liaising Transport market software board with stakeholders like subject matter experts, application specialists and discipline lead to prioritise software</li><li>Identifying and implementing opportunities for streamlining the use of software</li><li>Review and report on software usage in the software portfolio owned by Transport market</li><li>Engaging with vendors on implementation and decommissioning of software</li><li>Liaising with various stakeholders in our IT team on the procurement, packaging, and deployment of software to our internal deployment system (Software Store)</li><li>Interfacing with ServiceNow (our ticketing system) for reviewing software requests from the Transport market</li><li>Enforce software usage policies and ensure company compliance</li></ul><p><strong>Your starting point for constant growth</strong></p><p>From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:</p><ul><li>Strong experience in managing software portfolios or in IT project management</li><li>A good wide base of understanding of IT and functions in a large company to be able to interface effectively between business teams and IT teams</li><li>Strong ability to be able to produce reports from underlying data in a clear and sufficient way and use to provide evidence of decision making</li><li>Prior experience in the Transport consultancy sector is preferable, with a detailed understanding of the software marketplace that supports the area</li><li>Experience with the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry and its relevant software preferred but not required</li></ul><p>Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role:</p><ul><li>Excellent communication skills towards stakeholders at different levels like specialists, project managers and directors</li><li>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to negotiate positive outcomes with clients and staff when required</li><li>Confidence and professional approach to ensure focus on prioritised software in the portfolio, by directly engaging with discipline teams</li><li>Ability to work on own initiative, but also seek assistance when required</li><li>Demonstrate pride in the work, through high quality, accurate, and timely delivery</li><li>IT skills to be able to evaluate various software and insights</li><li>Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure timescales are met</li><li>Willingness to continue to learn and develop understanding in the constantly evolving space</li></ul><p><strong>Welcome to our Transport market</strong></p><p>Ramboll is a global transportation consultancy and we work on some of the biggest and most innovative infrastructure projects in the world.
