With direct reference to our Head of Transformation and Operational Excellence, you will become part of our growing IT Transformation and Operational Excellence team in IT, which currently consists of three dedicated colleagues. The team is responsible for our LEAN-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE), Process Center of Excellence and our Project and Portfolio Management Office. We enable the IT organization to deliver valuable solutions to our business and customers through efficient and effective ways of working. To achieve this we need to master project and portfolio management and this is why we need you as our new Project & Portfolio Manager. A job with a focus on leading strategic projects and portfolio management
As Portfolio & Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of our organization's initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the entire portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and efficient resource utilization. Furthermore, a part of your role entails leading one or more key projects and securing anchoring of the initiatives.
More specifically, your tasks will be:
Personality matters
We are looking for a Project & Portfolio Manager, who is excited about delivering continuous improvement through leading projects and managing the portfolio, so the IT function develop practices and delivers increased business value. There are many entry points to this position. We imagine that you have a degree on minimum bachelor’s level, combined with at least 5 years from a Project Manager role, where you have obtained a strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and Waterfall.
As a person, you thrive in a collaborative environment and therefore enjoy creating results together with your colleagues where communication and interpersonal skills are key. This further enables you to lead successful projects as you understand the importance of stakeholder engagement. You get energy from working with specialists as well as managers and have excellent communication skills, which means that you naturally engage project participants and align with stakeholders. Managing one or more projects is a joy for you, as you thrive in a dynamic environment, and you easily spot dependencies or risks across a project portfolio.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken English. Danish is an advantage.

- Developing and maintain a strategic IT portfolio roadmap aligned with organizational goals
- Enabling Kamstrup’s Digital board to prioritize and oversee the successful execution of projects within the portfolio
