You are offered a role, where there will be room for continuous learning. We expect you to contribute with skills in Solvency II calculations and reporting, combined with some insight into Risk. What you do not know, you can learn, and Europæiske ERV will support you in this. Because of the organisation’s size, you are offered a unique opportunity to gain an understanding of the full value chain across disciplines and functions.
There will be direct reporting to the Nordic CFO, and close collaboration with the Risk Manager and the Group Risk function. Workplace will be in central Copenhagen, and with flexibility to work from home some days in the week.
In the role as Senior Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and mitigating risks. You will work closely with various business units about core business and commercial activities. Your role will encompass development of risk models, Solvency II calculations, and active participation in the implementation of an internal control system. Your insights will significantly influence decision-making and risk management strategies within the business units and at Board level and. Some of your primary responsibilities include:

Solvency II calculations, reporting, and supporting business and management
In the role as Senior Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and mitigating risks. You will work closely with various business units about core business and commercial activities. Your role will encompass development of risk models, Solvency II calculations, and active participation in the implementation of an internal control system. Your insights will significantly influence decision-making and risk management strategies within the business units and at Board level and. Some of your primary responsibilities include:
- Ensuring regular risk reporting in line with regulatory requirements.
- Solvency 2 calculations, reporting, and following-up.
- Coordinating risk management activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing risk-related advice to the business and Board of Directors.
- Implementing risk evaluation methods and processes.
- Overseeing and updating the internal control system and validating risk assessments.
- Collaborating with the business regarding projects and business development initiatives.
- Participating in inter-organisational collaborations and external audits.
Actuary or Risk Specialist, with ambitions to pursue a career in Risk Management

- Experience and academic credentials in Risk Management from insurance or finance.
- Preferably an Actuarial background, with strong exposure to Risk Management.
- Proficiency in creating and utilising risk assessment models and systems, preferably with experience in implementing and optimising risk management software.
- Familiarity with reinsurance processes is a plus.
- Solid experience using MS Office applications, especially Excel, and in combination with a solid insight into various ERP systems.
- Fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
