Project manager

Reporting to the Head of Product Management at DOVISTA, you will be responsible for executing product and technology development projects across the organization. The role will involve numerous and diverse interfaces defined by each specific project, and you will collaborate at multiple levels within the organization. You will typically lead projects that involve resources from various departments. Additionally, you will collaborate with different product category leads and R&D teams. You will define objectives, develop business cases, ensure project progress, and report to a steering group or product board.

In this role, you will also create the governance, processes, tools and structures that enable best practice and collaboration globally across departments.

Other responsibilities include:

• Assembling, leading, and motivating the team, and in collaboration with the steering group, setting direction.
• Developing plans and resource budgets and continuously monitoring them.
• Conducting risk evaluations.
• Escalating decisions to gates or upper management.
• Building a strong network within the organization.

You will have extensive interaction in a progressive organization and will be evaluated based on the quality of your project management, communication, and ability to maintain an overview. It is crucial that you embrace DOVISTA’s core values, such as commitment and mutual respect.

Your qualifications

Currently, you hold a position as a Project Manager or Project Engineer in a larger manufacturing organization and possess a minimum of 3 years of project management experience. You have a relevant academic background, either with a technical focus or experience in working with technical products. You are well-versed in project management tools and have experience presenting to top-level management. Your ability to inspire and motivate those you work with is a strength, and you thrive in handling both small and large projects, assuming responsibility with enthusiasm.

On a more personal level you thrive in a matrix and international environment. You possess strong stakeholder management skills and have experience in successfully running projects in a multi-cultural setting with multiple stakeholders involved. A structural mind-set and proficient IT skills are essential for this role. Moreover, you demonstrate the ability to build pragmatic solutions. Strong teamwork and communication skills are highly valued, as is the capacity to influence and engage effectively in a diverse and global organization.
