The Position You will manage with a wide array of stakeholders across Pilot Plants in Bagsværd and Gentofte, ensuring robust support to the Maintenance and Calibration process across the organization, so that we can guarantee the production-ready facilities for production of drug substance (API) or intermediate to API, for clinical studies in sufficient quantity and quality for the purpose. Your main tasks will be:
  • Foster and develop a dedicated, professional, proactive and empowered team by initiating activities that ensure and maintain employee empowerment.

  • Apply your team strengths, both in the daily operation and of existing plants.

  • Be actively involved in investment projects across the CMC API Pilots.

    • Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • A bachelor degree within Technology Management (Maskinmester) or Engineering.

  • It is preferable that you have a good technical insight.

  • Experience from the pharma industry or knowledge of GMP are advantages.

  • You are fluent in English and Danish.

  • Excellent people management skills.

About the Department You will be part of the management team consisting of 4 Associate Managers, a Director and an Administrative Coordinator. The API Pilots Operations department is a part of our Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) area. In the API Pilots Operations department the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) is performed both manufacturing and process development of new API candidates for all Novo Nordisk. We create the framework for the Pilot facilities to produce as much API as possible. We do this by ensuring a production-ready facility with stable supplies and sufficient capacity of maintained and calibrated equipment for the production and development of API. The Calibration and Maintenance Support team, which you will lead, employees 10 skilled chemists, engineers as well as technicians and a craftsman. We contribute to API production, mainly by securing Maintenance- and Calibration strategies, with subsequent plans as well as spare parts. All anchored in SAP PM, QM and MM.
