In this position you will primarily be responsible for planning, executing and analysing laboratory experiments to develop robust and scalable purification processes.
Some of your other responsibilities include: Perform, evaluate and report experimental work in the laboratory Provide data analysis as well as input at technical design reviews Collaborate with laboratory technicians, including trouble shooting on technical issues Participate in cross-functional project groups and professional collaboration forums Be innovative in experimental design and optimization, identifying new solutions to technical problems, data handling and secure IPR You can look forward to a broad range of exciting challenges and the opportunity to work with extraordinary talent feeding in to your personal and professional development. Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to have: PhD in biochemistry, (bio-)chemical engineering, protein chemistry or related discipline Theoretical understanding in combination with practical experience from lab within chromatography and protein chemistry Experience within other downstream process steps such as UF/DF and/or supporting analytics Fluency in English (written and spoken) We operate in a fast-changing environment, with an increasing level of automation and digitalization. It is therefore considered an advantage to be an innovative individual with ability and experience within the areas of mechanistic or statistic modelling for experimental design.

The job is placed in the department Downstream Development in CMC Development & Scaling, located in Bagsværd, Denmark. Our main responsibility is to develop downstream purification processes for new proteins and peptides used in clinical trials. We do so in close collaboration with the research and manufacturing units, pilot facilities, and Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs). The department has 90+ employees divided in 6 teams that work together. Working at Novo Nordisk
