Apply today and become a part of our exciting project!The PositionYou will be managing major contracts with key Engineering Partners to Novo Nordisk in strategic investment projects. Hereunder to act as deputy to the Senior Procurement Lead and provide coaching and guidance to the wider contract management and project organisation. Moreover, to support, train and guide vendors in Novo Nordisk contract management requirements, tools, and processes. This includes – under guidance of the Lead Procurement Manager – to:
  • Monitor and report on Engineering Partner contracts and performance regarding time, quality, and costs. You will also negotiate, settle, or dispute claims related all contracts in this area.
  • Support Project Controls and Business Support with cashflow forecasts, claims management and continued development of invoicing and approval processes, you will also lead regular contract performance status meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor contract performance.
  • Set up appropriate escalation procedures to involve Procurement Managers, Category managers, Project and Engineering Management for dispute resolution or risk management.
  • Keep the overall contract overview of supplier performance across all disciplines based on input from other contract managers and engineering partners. This includes an aggregated overview of key milestone status from each Work Package and from key vendors with multiple Work Packages.
  • Ensure that Change Orders are managed efficiently across the project and in consistency with agreed contracting processes. You’ll also guarantee adherence to Novo Nordisk contracting standards. policies and project specific guidelines.
  • Support best practice sharing initiatives with other projects across Novo Nordisk.
    • QualificationsTo succeed in this position, you:
  • Having an academic degree within Law, Engineering, Finance, Technical, Economics or similar, and 3+ years five years of experience within Contract/Claim Management, Project Management experience is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret contractual documents, including terms and conditions, planning, and technical specifications.
  • An understanding of project finance and the impact of contract/claim management on project budgets.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in different situations.
  • Basic leadership qualities and experience in working with engineering partners – internally and externally – are clear advantages.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
    • About the DepartmentOur team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk – and when finished the facility will employ app. 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products.
