Opportunity
We are looking for a business oriented senior financial analyst to join our Delivery FP&A team in Copenhagen. The team consists of 3 financial analysts, and in your role you will be supporting the business finance team of the Transported by Maersk service model.
As Senior Financial Analyst in Delivery FP&A supporting the Transported by Maersk service model, you are expected to quickly get to know the business and work across the floor.
You will consolidate and analyze performance stories, support stakeholders’ decision-making process and play a key role in the reporting wheel. You will work with stakeholders within Finance and the business, and your role involves getting a good business understanding of both our Ocean and Logistics businesses.
Key responsibilities:
- Be the anchor point for driving high-quality reporting and analysis in collaboration with the finance business partners.
- Enable the performance management cycle across TbM Delivery, from coordination of target setting to the monthly performance management process. Includes being involved with and facilitating creation and management of end-to-end process across TbM Delivery from analysis of key drivers based on global assumptions to coordinating input across regions and products.
- Outline and facilitate the quarterly forecasting processes and associated activities.
- Manage and model input from stakeholders, working across the floor ensuring high quality in communication of performance.
- Continuous improvements: Drive simplification of reports, analytics tools and automation of reporting.
What are we looking for
You have a Master’s degree in finance or economics combined with 5+ years of relevant work experience. In addition, you are expected to posses:
In depth experience with financial analysis and a strong analytical mindset
Solid understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting principles
Outstanding communication and presentation skills both written and orally (English)
Strong skills in Excel and Powerpoint, while experience from BI systems is a plus
Nice to have: in depth of understanding of Maersk Businesses, industries and key drivers
Personal skills
Effectively manages tight deadlines, high intensity and urgent deliverables
Communicates, aligns and overall manages and influences many different stakeholders
Voices concerns and challenges processes.
Shows strong team player capabilities
Strong integrity and collaboration mindset that allows you to successfully interact with people at all levels in a global organization
Used to and enjoy working in a challenging, fast paced and changing environment dealing with different tasks at the same time
