The ‘Project Manager – ERP Business Unit’ will provide leadership and oversight of the projects Business Leads within Finance and Supply Chain functions. The project is a company-wide rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365, but with focus on implementation in Copenhagen at first. Given the size and scope of the project, this requires strong leadership and project management skills. This is a crucial role on the multi-year business transformation project that will require collaboration among cross-functional teams in multiple physical locations and management of both internal resources as well as external partners. It will require exceptional analytical and organizational skills, results focus, and a clear understanding of each of the site’s environment.
The ideal candidate will help the team document processes, test solution, support data migration and develop training. The functional solutions are based on the business requirements and new processes are designed to support the growth and scalability which are required. In addition, the role will provide inputs for cutover, data migration, testing, and training related strategies.
About the Team
The ‘Project Manager - ERP Business Unit’ will report to the Project Director and is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and will require to travel to our six sites throughout the later phases of the implementation process. The position is as a key player in the PMO organization together with the Project Manager – IT Solution, Project Manager Implementation and the Project Director.
Responsibilities
- Direct and lead activities for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation project regarding Business Unit with respect to Finance and Supply Chain Management.
- Be an essential part of the Project Management Team, together with the Project Director, and Projects Manager for IT Solution and Project Manager for Implementation.
- Ensure the design and implementation of the D365 solution enables efficiency, ease of administration, visibility, and optimization of the Finance function.
- Ensure documentation of all technical processes, requirements, workflows and process diagrams.
Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Finance processes including G/L, A/P, A/R, Costing, Fixed Assets, and various Finance processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and end users with an adaptive style, influencing skill and change management orientation.
- Strong tactical, problem solving and executional skills and project management experience.
- Advanced technical skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Operations, or related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Dynamics AX is required.
- Experience across multiple Accounting/Finance functions (G/L, A/P, A/R, Costing, Fixed Assets, Master Data Management and Business Intelligence / Data Analytics) and the systems which support them.
- Experience in the software development methodology lifecycle a plus.
- Equivalent education and experience may substitute for stated requirements
