About the job:

As part of Saxo’s Commercial Project Management team, you will play an instrumental role in Project Managing the Saxo Experience and drive the Go to Market Projects and secure execution. By continuously digitalizing our engagement, we ensure that Saxo’s client offering is truly cutting edge and scalable.

As Project manager your responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope on all global and local initiatives related to Go To Market Activities. In our team we have organized ourselves in 4 different HUBs, individually specialized within Brand & Marketing, Commercial, Content & Communication and UX & Digital.

The role

You must manage all aspects of projects, including setting deadlines, defining Key Stakeholders, assigning responsibilities/resources, as well as monitoring and summarizing the progress of the projects. You will also prepare reports for management regarding the status of the projects. You must be familiar with project management concepts, practices, and procedures. A high level of creativity and independence is expected.

In this position we offer you a solid introduction to the project management discipline as well as guide you to develop your skills and personal capabilities over time. You will be using and exploring various project management tools that will give you the opportunity to learn and develop personally and professionally.

As a maternity cover, you’ll join the 6-person Project Management Team and report to the Global Head of Commercial Project Management Office, Gine Buch.

How you succeed

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure flawless execution of assigned projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

  • Assist in the definition of project briefs, scopes and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Develop and communicate a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Manage the relationship with relevant stakeholders and build a strong collaboration between other SXO teams working with product, price, branding, content, design, digital and UX etc.

  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Meet with project team members for detailed briefs and clarification of specific requirements of each project

  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with stakeholders

  • Assist and coordinate the development and continuous optimization of processes across Platform, website and the digital client experience

  • Create briefs, debriefs, milestone and roll-out plans for all marketing and engagement related productions using platforms like Podio, SharePoint, Forecast, TFS, Excel etc


You should have experience in

  • Working for 4 years or more in project management

  • Establishing operational and behavioural best practices to achieve organizational goals

  • Collaborating with teams across a complex organization

  • Presenting and reporting

  • Basic knowledge about project management tools, which includes e.g. Gantt charts, timelines, roll-out plans

  • Solving problems with a demonstrated ability to identify issues and resolve them quickly

  • Comfortable in an ever changing and high-paced environment

  • Comfortable with hosting meetings and creating detailed agendas

  • Good at using your people skills, maximizing the usage of effective and productive human interactions, by e.g. working with senior stakeholders, digital specialists and creative people.
