The position As the Director of Early Clinical Pharmacology, you will have the opportunity to: Lead and develop a team of skilled and engaged Clinical Pharmacology Specialists. Interact with internal and external stakeholders. Support the optimization of clinical trial designs to ensure high scientific value of our early clinical trials. Improve department deliverables and optimize resource use and processes. Join the Global Translation extended leadership team in Novo Nordisk. Increase your competencies within people management. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in the role, you should have: A PhD and/or MD with minimum 6 years of experience from pharma, biotech or equivalent. A strong background in clinical pharmacology and experience in running clinical development activities. Excellent leadership and people management skills. Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a person you are highly independent, flexible and proactive. You have great communication skills and take responsibility, have a high-quality mindset and can maintain an overview also under time pressure. About the department The Early Clinical Pharmacology department is a department in Global Translation and is scientifically responsible for designing, planning, and executing early Clinical Pharmacology studies in new and exciting therapeutic areas across the Novo Nordisk portfolio. The team consists of engaged and highly skilled colleagues who work in a flexible and cross-functional setting.
