Then apply today and join us as our new Medical Manager for Insulins and Rare Diseases in Novo Nordisk Denmark (NNDK)! Please bear in mind that you must be located in Denmark and there is no option to relocate if you're abroad. The Position As Medical Manager for the Insulin & Rare Disease business, you will be a leading partner in the generation, interpretation, and communication of medical and scientific data with internal and external stakeholders (KOLs, HCPs and other influencers). You will be responsible for ensuring that the Danish affiliate is equipped and trained to deliver the best possible scientific interactions with the external scientific community. As part of your key responsibilities: You will spend 20-40 % of the time in the field with external partners (HCPs and KOLs) as a preferred partner in generating and discussing evidence and science. You will act as an active core member of Insulin and Rare D Business Unit, ascertaining involvement and cascading of relevant information to the team. You’ll be responsible for driving the medical part of the Regional Business Plans within your area and setting a structured engagement plan with HCP and KOLs. You will deliver cross functional input to Project Development Plans and trial outlines, as well as ensure proper internal training and support of colleagues in NNDK, including Sales, Clinical, Marketing and Customer Service. You’ll act as a scientific expert, handle investigator sponsored studies (ISSs), and drive real world evidence generation and lead publication of data. You will contribute to the development and implementation of the Medical Affairs Insulins and Rare Disease Strategy. Qualifications You might be our ideal candidate if you: Hold a master or preferably a Ph.D. degree in medicine, pharmaceutical or other natural sciences. Have a proven track record of professional experience within in the pharmaceutical industry in diabetes, haemophilia, growth hormone replacement therapy and/or insulins. Have 5+ years of proven experience, in management of Medical Affairs activities, of clinical trials, observational studies, project management and development of medical education material and publications and planning of and conducting advisory boards/expert panels. Have an innate ability to interact authoritatively with key internal and external stakeholders. Are fluent in both Danish and English in oral and written forms. About the Department The Medical & Scientific Affairs Department constitutes a group of medical managers who are responsible for driving and/or supporting the scientific activities within the Novo Nordisk focus therapy areas. As part of our key missions, we strive to i mprove patients' lives by ensuring healthcare decisions are based on latest evidence. We generate and disseminate evidence related to our focus areas in close collaboration with key stakeholders. We carry out the investigator sponsored studies (ISS) process and support generation and interpretation of real-world studies across Denmark. Additionally, we oversee and drive speaker selection and scientific content for external meetings such as our medical education program.
