The Position As a member of North West Europe Mid Size (NWE-MS) leadership and NWE CMR Leadership team, you will be a key player to ensure that NWE-MS CMR organization actively contributes to the strong value story of NN and NN brands through your strong functional competencies and matrix leadership. You will be a key player to shape the external healthcare environment and ensure that NWE-MS CMR organization actively contributes to the strong value story of NN and NN brands. Your other responsibilities would include: Drive the necessary CMR capability building allowing the business to prepare for successful entry into future therapy areas of Novo Nordisk together with global stakeholders. Continue the journey of building the necessary capabilities and mindset of NWE-MS CMR professionals while continuously improving the impact of CMR to transform patient standards-of-care in countries. Qualifications We are looking for a strong communicator, curious and open minded with a keenness to consider diverse perspectives and try proactive and innovative ways of operating. In addition you have experience in relevant key therapy areas and/or key strategic pipeline areas (Diabetes, Obesity and/or Cardiovascular) as well as Medical Affairs, Clinical, and Regulatory Affairs (functional) competencies including a demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong relationships with top KOLs in therapy areas. Proven expertise in organizational leadership and ability to work effectively & seamlessly in the matrix while embracing ambiguity and complexity is also needed for the role. Moreover you meet the following criteria: MD with solid medical and scientific experience and minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical business experience with 5+ years of leadership experience working in a global matrix organization. Strong leadership and business partnering skills, a genuine interest & curiosity to understand the business and where CMR can optimally support the company’s agenda at all stages of the brand life cycle. Ability to work & deliver across countries & cultures, with experience of working in several other cultures. Dynamic and solution-oriented approach and a natural authority with the ability to empower and engage people to perform at their best. Preferable affiliate experience Willingness to travel.
