About the department
Clinical Operations is responsible for the set-up and execution of phase 1-4 clinical trials. Our environment is characterised by a vast global network, knowledge sharing, talented colleagues and challenging assignments in a dynamic project centric organisation. You will work in a team of Clinical Trial Administrators, Global Trial Managers, Clinical Operational Leads and Clinical Project Leads who together are responsible for planning and conducting clinical trials in close collaboration with other areas across Novo Nordisk worldwide.
The position
As Senior Clinical Trial Administrator you will be an essential member of the trial management team supporting the clinical trial planning, execution, and finalisation by performing administrative tasks as well as wide communication with international stakeholders and collaborators. By use of your structured approach and high-quality mindset, you will establish and maintain the Trial Master Files in accordance with standard operational procedures (SOPs) including uploading and updating of information, indexing and Quality Control of trial documents in our different IT Clinical systems. Furthermore, you will be: Involved in outsourcing processes. Involved in trial budgets Assisting in updating clinical documents such as protocol and protocol amendments Involved in the preparation of monitoring guidelines, laboratory manuals, and patient enrolment updates All activities are carried out in close collaboration with the responsible trial managers. Finally, you will support meeting planning and you will be collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders worldwide. As our Senior Clinical Trial administrator, you will play a central role in onboarding and mentoring more junior colleagues, setting best practises and be the expert on selected systems or processes. The position is permanent and based in Søborg, Denmark.
Qualifications
In order to succeed in this role, we imagine that you: Have at least 3-5 years professional experience from a similar function, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. Have substantial experience in the Clinical Trial Administrator job tasks as well as a track record of confidently applying knowledge and skills to complete the wide range of administrative, technical and operational tasks pertaining to the role. Have solid experience in handling clinical trial documentation and working according to Good Documentation Practice. Are fluent in English, both written and verbally. Are an advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), have flair for using various other IT systems, and you are quick to learn new IT tools. Knowledge of systems such as SAP, Qlik Sense is an advantage. Have understanding of basic project management. Furthermore, it is considered an advantage if you have experience with one or more of the following: Preparing for and participating in audits and inspections. Data tracking and monitoring. Our ideal candidate is a strong team player, who can work independently and is well-structured with a sense for detail and a good overview at the same time.
