If so, we have a great opportunity for you to take active responsibility in improving the security level of private companies and public organizations. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at either our Headquarters in Copenhagen or our office in Aarhus.

About the job
As our new Business Development Manager you will be part of our sales team, and a driving factor to reach our goals and growth.

You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and developing your own customer portfolio, and you will have the opportunity to work with existing customers across sectors and borders. You will therefore have a strong focus on new business development, meeting potential and existing customers, develop proposals, negotiate etc. We will of course prepare you for the tasks through our onboarding program.

Our sales process is solution-oriented and you have our technical consultants available for presale assistance in your sales.

Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager you will have three primary responsibilities:

• Developing new leads
• Advising about Improsec services to your existing accounts
• Maintaining active and beneficial relationships with customers

When it comes to generating business, day-to-day tasks typically involve

• Book and host customer meetings, depending on stage in sales process it includes initial meetings, presentation meetings (listening is important), scoping meetings, or negotiation/contract meetings
• Initiate and develop business relationships
• Identify ideas and insights by researching industry, publications, and announcements – and participate our internal training/updates
• Screen new business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials
• Follow up services to customers and propose relevant next steps/services
• Evaluate customers’ goals and needs – to help improve their security posture

Skills we are looking for

  • 5-10 years of proven experience in sales with a strong track record
  • Experience with cyber security and service selling, ex. technical services like penetration test, cloud assessment, and maturity assessments.
  • Experience with C-level interactions and enterprise companies
  • An interest for technology, including technical experience, education or sales
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, proficiency in English and Danish
