We do not expect that you know all the answers. These aren’t the droids we’re looking for! What will you be doing you ask?
As a Solution Specialist in the Digital Solutions team, your main responsibility is development of new frontend features and optimization of existing functionalities based on prioritization from our product owners.

Other tasks will be:

• Close collaboration with Solution Architects and the other Specialists on the solution design.
• Quality assurance by code review, test case creation and testing.
• Release master as part of the release rotation.
• Create and maintain documentation.
• 3rd line support of the applications within your area.
• Make sure that maintenance of owned applications is being prioritised - not just wait for it, be proactive.
• Career development – we will ensure dedicated time for building up new competences and getting insight into new technologies. We will provide great possibilities to develop both professionally and personally.

What we wish to see in you
You must be skilled in TSX frameworks similar to StencilJs - like VueJS and React as our frontend is well in progress of moving from AngularJS to StencilJS. Episerver (Optimizely) is the solution behind the frontend, and the Episerver drives our CMS and other backend applications that supports search, product flow, and order handling. Knowledge of MVC will be an advantage, but not a demand.

In the Digital Solutions team we are fully committed to stay on target to deliver quality and best-in-class solutions. We are working in an agile framework, where involvement, commitment and retrospectives are the key drivers for continuous improvements and accomplishments. That is needed to maintain Solar’s digital edge of the industry.

The Digital Solutions team is part of Solar Group IT department. In total we are approx. 100 internal IT colleagues and we cover everything from server maintenance and IT support to development of new features and integrations, but also large IT implementations. When needed we get assistance from external consultants. Group IT is represented in all Solar-countries, but primarily at the headquarter in Vejen.
