We are searching for an Application Architect to join our great team. You will be working with dedicated colleagues on state-of-the-art radar technology and become part of the experts who supports the Terma radar solutions.

Job summary

As an application architect you will work with dedicated colleagues and exiting high-end technology. Our radars are part of security and safety applications – and our applications protect infrastructure, coastlines and airports worldwide. This means that you will interact with a range of different customers and market segments as you ensure definition, implementation and integration of our proposed solutions.

You will typically support or be responsible for the technical part of a tender, based on your detailed understanding of customer requirements and how they match the product portfolio. You must be able to interpret and break down user requirements to system requirements.

During project implementation you may participate as the technical lead during integration activities for example on-site; airport, port or a challenging coastal locations.

You will be in direct contact with customers and end users. Therefore, a central part of your role will be to follow through and ensure that your stakeholders are continuously kept in the loop. You create understanding and commitment by addressing uncertainties and risks.

Your primary location will be at Terma Lystrup. Travel up to 35 days a year can be expected.

How to succeed in this position?

Depending on your experience, we will make sure to give you the proper introduction. Beside your qualifying education, your experience may derive from a similar position, which has given you a strong toolbox. You are Curious and eager to acquire new knowledge from a team of experienced colleagues.

• You hold a BSc in electronic engineering or similar
• You might possess knowledge on radar solutions
• You have an analytic approach and deep technical understanding
• You are able to work independently in a dynamic environment
• You are committed to deadlines and have a structured approach to assignments
• You are able to deliver quality with a service-oriented perspective
• You speak and write English fluently including being well-constructed in writing
