What we’re looking For Are you a specialist with ASIC/FPGA development with a deep knowledge of digital design & verification techniques & methodologies? If you would like to be one of our European Application Engineers for digital functional verification (ideally based in the Nordics or the Netherlands) and play a critical role in the success of Siemens EDA then we would love to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing
- Driving business for Siemens EDA using hands-on technical expertise. This requires working directly with customers as a part of the sales team
- Applying your expertise in functional verification to help our customers improve their verification capabilities, identifying and providing solutions to overcome their verification challenges and delivering assistance in the deployment of our tools, technology and services
- Providing technical leadership on all aspects of the sales campaign, contributing towards and delivering on pre/post sales account strategy as member of a sales team
- Aligning with account managers as they proactively lead customer accounts to achieve business success whilst providing technical sales support including product demonstrations, evaluations and competitive benchmarking
- Providing customer verification methodology guidance, verification tools training, and verification problem resolution
- Working with customers to solve complex technical challenges in multiple disciplines of functional verification which may include assertion based verification, coverage driven verification, formal verification, low power verification, and verification management
- Managing multiple customer issues concurrently, working with design & verification engineers, as well as first or second level managers
- Providing technical feedback to Siemens EDA product development teams relating to critical issues and recommended product improvements
What you’ll bring
- MSEE or BSEE (or equivalent) qualification,
- ASIC/FPGA design or verification experience - knowledge of SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL languages, behavioural & RTL coding and debug using dynamic and static verification techniques.
- Verification planning and management experience with block level and top-level designs.
- Knowledge of one of the major verification methodologies (UVM, OSVVM/UVVM or eRM) and associated verification languages (SystemVerilog, SystemC, e).
- Experienced level usage of at least one major simulation platform (Questa, Xcelium, VCS, Specman).
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows environments including scripting languages.
- Experience with Siemens EDA functional verification products desired but not required.
- English language fluency
