Hydrographer for surveying department

Do you have the desire and abilities for a job where you will be part of our surveying department and where you encounter different types of tasks? Are you an experienced surveyor? Then we have a position in our surveying department, where there is room for sparring with experienced colleagues and challenges on your own.

The surveying department performs surveys, creates survey reports, and acts as a sparring partner for the project managers. The survey team consists of various land survey teams and a marine team. Each team has its dedicated field, but at the same time, there is close cooperation.

You will work closely with other experienced surveyors under the supervision of the Marine Works Chief Surveyor. You will work on our vessels and pontoons, as well as on the construction site in Rødbyhavn, Denmark.

The department's tasks consist of:

• Preparation of own survey work based on digital drawings and models
• Conduct multibeam surveys of marine activities from the survey vessel or one of the pontoons
• Perform acoustic positioning operations (LBL, USBL)
• Registration of performed tasks and data in the file system
• Create maps, charts, and reports in Excel and AutoCAD about the performed construction works

About you:

• You are fully familiar with Autocad / Civil 3d and/or Microstation
• You have experience with marine survey software, preferably Qinsy
• You have experience with multibeam surveying and/or subsea positioning
• You are structured and systematic
• You are thorough and quality conscious
• You are flexible in the execution of tasks
• You have a driving license B
