At Wunderman Thompson Studios we are currently looking for talented Art Directors, who are passionate about creative concepting and working collaboratively in an international environment with multiple different professional backgrounds.
The Role
As an Art Director at Wunderman Thompson Studios you are passionate and knowledgeable about how to tell a story through visual communication, and you love to think creatively and outside of the box. You have a curious nature and stay updated on the newest developments and trends within design and ideas.
Based on the campaign and brand strategy, usually presented by the client, you develop a concept for the campaign. You usually work in close collaboration with Copywriters and Project Managers to create the best creative output for the Client. The concept is the framework for the campaign's individual parts, both visual and copy.
As Art Director, you have knowledge of the target audience relevant to the Client, and how best to communicate with them. Through collaboration, you ensure that the concept aligns with the message that the Clients wishes to communicate and resonates with the target audience.

- You have a solid knowledge of design and the ability to visualize thoughts and ideas.
- You develop and maintain brand and visual identity
- You build innovative sales- and information campaigns
- You develop and execute campaigns across various channels.
- You understand the conceptual campaign process; from ideation to delivery.
- You work in close collaboration with senior creatives to further develop your skills as an Art Director.
- You design and create presentations and are comfortable presenting them.
- You work on film productions and photoshoots in close collaboration with the Film department.
Your Qualifications:
- A background and/or education in graphic design, design technology etc.
- Experience writing compelling and concise marketing materials.
- Experience in an advertising or creative agency is an advantage but not a requirement.
- You have an excellent command of the English language.
- Strong understanding of creative concepting and visual marketing.
- Familiarity with creative processes and techniques.
- Strong team player, who likes to engage in creative brainstorming and support team members.
- Interest in building your presentational skills.
