Welcome to the Hardware Quality team
In our matrix organization you will be part of our Hardware Quality team who currently consists of 10 dedicated colleagues. We are a part of Product Quality in the Quality Organization in the Hearing Instrument Group (HIG). The Quality function consists of 200+ colleagues globally, and we are responsible for Quality and Regulatory for our biggest brands, like Oticon, Bernafon and Philips.

We are a good mix of educational and international backgrounds in our team. Some are project managers, some are specialist. We are good at knowledge sharing and supporting each other out, and equally important, we have fun together. The tone is really happy and informal, and we do a lot of things together, also outside working hours.” says your new manager Jérémy Liely, Manager Hardware Quality with a smile.

Ensuring a consistent high hardware quality
You will part of development teams creating sophisticated hardware for future hearing solutions and you will be developing your own virtual team of quality specialists.

Your role is to ensure, that our product can endure the world and all the everyday challenges it will be exposed to” says Jérémy and continues “You will define the requirements for the hearing aid. It can for example be how many times it should be able to be dropped on the floor, it could be sweat and ear wax test or you could be looking at user groups with specific needs, for example kids.

In your role, we make way for you to take responsibility to make sure that our hardware platforms fulfil the user’s expectations for high quality as well as the regulatory requirements. Your daily work will be supported by the newest methods, equipment and laboratories. To support the business and organization globally, you can expect 10-15 days per year of travelling.

As a Product Quality Manager, you will work closely with the R&D and Manufacturing teams to identify and address any quality issues throughout the product development and manufacturing process.

We will provide you with a wide portfolio of interesting and exciting projects and tasks in which your main focus will be among others:

  • developing virtual team of quality specialists in a matrix organization and plan their activities
  • conduct quality status meetings
  • contribute to risk assessment


Project manager with technical skills
We imagine that you have a degree in engineering or similar relevant background. You have through the years built up substantial knowledge of mechanics, electronics, material science or production technology and gained experience with project management and regulatory approvals, with a focus on HW product development or quality.

On a personal perspective, we are looking for a person who thrives in actively taking work-processes forward. You consider yourself as a person with superb analytical skills enabling you to quickly break down technical issues and processes. Furthermore, you can communicate the results on to decisions makers in a simple and efficient way. You are openminded and like to work with teams of skilled and enthusiastic people in in an international friendly environment.
