With direct reference to our Vice President Group Finance, you will be leading a highly dedicated and passionate Controlling team consisting of nine Senior Business Controllers and Business Controllers while at the same time acting as a Financial Business Partner to the Vice President Group Finance and the Kamstrup Management Team. You will be part of the Group Finance Leadership Team. Together with the Controlling team, you will be responsible for operating at the core of our business, where your financial skills will lead to better decision-making throughout the entire value chain. Given the growth of Kamstrup, it is also vital that you can help drive the organization through the transformation that such growth requires.
Head of Controlling with strong analytical and collaborative skills
As our Head of Controlling, one of your essential tasks will be to strengthen the Finance Business Partner concept in Kamstrup. You will be responsible for setting the direction for the Controlling function by working closely together with the business to drive forecasting, reporting, and follow-up on budget delivery while keeping classic controlling of high standards. You will naturally have a high level of interaction with the other functions within Finance including Accounting and Business Intelligence for financial consolidation, investments, and compliance. Critically important will be your ability to build confidence and curiosity in your organization and balance the resource so you complement each other – this also includes establishing a safe peer-to-peer learning environment.
More specifically you will be responsible for:
• Driving continuous improvement of overall Financial Planning & Analysis
• Leading the monthly and yearly closing and other finance-related activities
• Ensuring that reliable, on-time, and high-quality financial information is provided to the business
• Driving the group-wide budgeting process and forecasting enabling strong collaboration among all stakeholders
• Actively engage in defining and executing value-based performance management across the value chain.
Personality matters
You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or similar and have a minimum of 10 years of experience from a similar position where you have also had managerial responsibility. You can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and create visible results together with your team.
In addition, it is a requirement that you have:
• A strong commitment to well-being and a healthy working environment with experience from leading diverse teams (age, skills, gender, ambitions, etc.)
• A solid track record of leading business controlling to new heights in a global and complex business environment
• Strong analytical skills, e.g., the ability to combine information from multiple sources and transform them into business insights, recommendations and/or actions
• Excellent skills in Excel and other financial tools and advanced use of PowerPoint
If you have experience in a manufacturing business or management consulting it will be considered an advantage.
As a person, you have strong leadership competencies with the ability to listen, challenge, be persistent and create clarity on direction. You act autonomously yes well-balanced, and you have a positive energy, can motivate, and inspire people to collaborate and act towards future goals. You possess excellent communication skills, and you are good at establishing strong, trustworthy relations across the entire organization and externally.
It is a requirement that you master English and Danish at a high level – both orally and written.
