Do you have what it takes to find the right people needed to ensure a successful digital transformation journey for one of the largest transportation companies in the world?

Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Hedehusene, near Copenhagen, you will join our HR team dedicated to our 2500+ people, global IT function, supporting DSV in the exciting task of digitising our business operations and building digital client propositions to stay competitive in the digital age.

We are an ambitious and professional team that takes pride in sharing knowledge across the team and functions. As our Technical Recruiter you will take the lead on sourcing, engaging with and qualifying the IT candidates needed for the future. In the role you will work closely with colleagues in Group HR, local HR, and IT managers in a culture where time from planning to execution is short. Your work will be of critical importance to the success of the company and therefore hold the focus of the top management team within the DSV IT organisation.

DSV is a fast-growing and dynamic company, where people speak their minds to stay ahead and face challenges head-on. DSV has grown drastically within the last few years through an ambitious M&A strategy and from a HR perspective we have gone from a de-centralised approach to HR to establishing a Group HR function in 2015 focusing on areas of HR where a global approach is beneficial. In Group HR we work from 9 countries, with an EVP and 4 heads of different areas. For our IT organisation we have a small, but dedicated IT HR team where this position fits in.

Your day-to-day tasks will therefore include:

  • Source IT candidates for the digital transformation area of DSV
  • Develop talent pipelines and engage with identified talent on a continuous basis
  • Qualify candidates in accordance with the requirements of the digital transformation area of IT
  • Work with local recruiters, agencies, and the IT organisation to ensure a timely and qualified process
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in DSV’s Global IT area
  • Conduct interviews, both IT technical interviews and personality-based interviews
  • Provide evaluations, recommendations, and expert insights on IT candidates
  • Maintain and contribute to recruitment overviews and reporting for DSV’s IT organisation
  • Evaluate recruitment approaches, identify areas of improvement and support implementation of these in alignment with the overall IT strategy and Talent Attraction approach in DSV
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends
  • The above list is not exhaustive

In time it is also possible to become involved in:

  • Workforce reporting, planning, and supporting associated initiatives
  • People analytics tasks

We imagine you have the following competencies:

  • Specialised knowledge and experience from the IT and tech industry
  • Knowledge and experience of recruiting for technical profiles with skills in e.g., Mongodb, Kafka, Virtualization & containerization, OOP, Python, different clouds etc.
  • Solid interviewing skills with proven application to technical IT roles
  • Great overview, well-structured and organised
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English
  • Strong executer, persevering and proactive in nature
