Can you take on the leadership of an international IT function
An opportunity to head up an international IT department at Maersk Container Industry’s (MCI) headquarter in Denmark. We are currently on a journey to establish an independent IT setup and you will be able to leave your mark on the future.
As IT Manager you will lead and develop the global MCI IT team which consist of 4 employees in Denmark and 3 employees in China covering the full scope of IT across operations and infrastructure.
This is a key leadership role within our company acting as the point of contact for IT within MCI.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
• Define infrastructure strategy, architecture and processes
• Partner with key stakeholders to develop solutions for IT needs
• To develop and implement IT security strategy and setup
• Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services to the organisation
• Provide direction, guidance and training to IT department
• Establish appropriate working relationships with customers, vendors and other support teams internally and externally.
• Overall responsibility for setting the MCI policy and strategy for IT in collaboration with the CFO.
You hold an IT education and a solid experience across IT operations and infrastructure. This should include experience of being responsible for IT security whether in-house or with external providers.
You have experience with the Microsoft O365 toolbox including SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive and Teams
As a person you are structured with a sense for details. You are a team player and service-minded, and you enjoy interacting with colleagues.
As you will be part of a global organization, it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in both written and verbal English.
