Aasted is looking for a skilled and experienced in-house lawyer with a strong commercial mindset to join our Legal Department. If you have a background in compliance and general legal advice from an international company and see yourself working in a fast-moving environment where decisions are made daily, then the new position as Legal Counsel could be the right one for you.
Your primary tasks
We are looking for a solution-oriented Legal Counsel, who will work with a wide variety of tasks, however your primary tasks will be to strength the compliance setup within fields as sanctions, anti-bribery, anti-trust and other business ethics.

About the Team
In the role as Legal Counsel, which is a new position, your base will be in our Legal Department. This is a small team of you and the General Counsel of Aasted. The Legal Department has existed for 5 years and works closely with all business departments as well as the management.
You will report to and work closely with the General Counsel.
About You
You thrive in a friendly but fast-moving environment where decisions will be made daily. You have a solid legal background from either an international law firm or as an in-house lawyer. Experience from the food contact material industry, the food industry or related industries is an advantage, however, it is not a requirement. It is important that you are ready to give push-back when needed.

Your primary tasks
We are looking for a solution-oriented Legal Counsel, who will work with a wide variety of tasks, however your primary tasks will be to strength the compliance setup within fields as sanctions, anti-bribery, anti-trust and other business ethics.
Moreover, your tasks can include;
- Support Aasted’s strategy in gaining international growth, which can include international set up, M&A activities and employment related issues.
- Company housekeeping
- Support our sales and procurement departments developing the best contractual basis and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Assisting on warranty, insurance claims and disputes.
- Assisting on insurance setup and day to day insurance matters.
- Strength the value of the intellectual property portfolio.
- Perform instructions in our management system related to the scope of the Legal Department
- Mitigating legal risks

Qualifications
- Master of law or Master of Business Law
- 3-5 years' work experience.
- Structured, analytical and able to handle simple as well as complex tasks.
- Sound legal judgement and pragmatism with good negotiation skills
- Business oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Positive, friendly and humoristic energy
- Great communication and writing skills in English.
- Service minded with great problem-solving skills.
