The position
As our Compliance Officer, you will be in a newly established position, where there is room for you to develop and set the direction.
You will be based at our headquarter in Copenhagen together with the team who currently consists of 3 experts within Operation. Our Operation Team is part of our wider Finance & Operation department consisting of Finance, Operation, and IT presently comprising 23 great colleagues.

A great match for us
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working within regulatory compliance in the financial sector, preferable in the insurance industry, in an MGA, or broker environment. You will also have a strong background in corporate governance.
Since we work cross-borders, language skills are vital. Speaking and writing a very high level of English, together with Danish is a must. Additional languages are only a plus. We also expect the candidate to have great interpersonal, and analytical skills. Further, you need to be able to work independently and collaboratively across different geographics in a fast-paced environment.

- Providing and gathering legal advice and support to various business units and functions on a wide range of insurance and business related matters cross multiple territories.
- Providing and gathering legal advice and supporting company structural, compliance, and other operationally related matters cross multiple territories.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements with partners, vendors, and regulators.
- Managing and overseeing corporate litigation and dispute resolution processes involving the company or its affiliates.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (this also includes various matters such as ESG, IDD, GDPR etc.)
- Advising and assisting the board of directors and senior management on corporate governance and risk management issues.

A great match for us
