Contract lawyer with a good business sense

Then we want you to be our new Contract Lawyer in the Legal Department at Abacus Medicine Group.
We are a team that shares our successes and know we are stronger when we work together. In the Legal department we provide legal support to all business units in the organization. As Contract lawyer your main responsibility is to consult and support the organization when it comes to contracts. That goes for all types of contracts being negotiated and agreed in any function or business unit globally.
You are the expert, when it comes to Contract Law
In fact, we want you to become the in-house subject matter expert in Contract Law where you continuously develop and ensure that our knowledge and insights into contracts is up to date. You will act as a partner for the business and be the one to consult if a contract negotiation should get stuck, where your contract management expertise will help get the process rolling.
Furthermore, you have a good business sense, and you seek to find opportunities to optimize our business and proactively manage risk. You support our internal customers with the following tasks:
- Overall improvement of the contract management capabilities in our organization
- Understanding the business case of the contract – and evaluating the contribution and alignment to group strategy
- Ensuring that contractual goals are met through proactively managing risks and seeking business optimization opportunities
- Developing and updating a Contract library, which includes analyzing the existing contractual landscape
- Developing and maintaining a signature authority matrix and contract framework including checklists and contract templates
Our Legal team always helps each other when necessary and covers for each other during busy periods and vacation, therefore you can sometimes expect giving advice on other matters than contracts.

In order for you to become successful you have a legal degree - Cand. Merc. Jur., Cand. Jur. or equivalent. You already possess years of experience with contract management either from an in-house legal position or a law firm. Your stakeholder competencies are top tuned to meet the needs of a commercial organisation.
Your passion is Contract management and you like cooperating and delivering a high level of service. You are fluent in Danish and English. If you know other languages it is considered a plus, since we do business globally.
