Cafe Dragør is looking for a new chef. Our mission at cafe Dragør sejlklub is to raise the level of the cafés in Dragør and serve great food from breakfast to lunch and dinner. We care deeply about creating an amazing work environment, and a truly special experience for our guests. We refuse to believe that a café can't be something extraordinary and special.
Therefore, we are looking for an ambitious and passionate Chef to assist our team. You must be a kind and strong leader, who is able to orchestrate a busy and growing kitchen. We expect you to have a good understanding of how to run a financially strong kitchen and to be a role model to the people around you.
A big part of your job will be to ensure that we keep the highest standards in the kitchen in terms of quality, cleanliness, and energy. Furthermore, you will act as the head chef in changing and perfecting the menu, in tune with our concept and values.

- Lead, mentor and manage the culinary team.
- Work closely with our other location, by coordinating prep, menus and how we do things.
- Make sure all the food we serve is excellent.
- Create prep lists for the kitchen crew.
- Handle ordering and communicate with suppliers.
- Setting the shift schedule for the kitchen.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
- Participate in interview process and selection of kitchen staff.
- Making sure we are always properly staffed in the kitchen.
